Reviews and Ratings
Traquair House offers a unique and historical experience, making it a magical wedding venue filled with charm and attentive service. While the beauty of the grounds and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, the breakfast service left much to be desired in terms of timing and food temperature. Overall, the historic ambiance is a definite highlight, but there are aspects of the service that could use improvement.
We had the most magical time at Traquair House for our wedding. The historical charm of the venue added a rich atmosphere to our special day, and the staff, especially Gillian, were incredibly helpful in planning everything. The only downside was that there was a challenge with public access during our visit, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. The grounds were absolutely stunning, making for beautiful photos and memories.
We had a lovely time exploring the beautiful gardens and historical charm of the hotel, with its old architecture truly adding to the experience. Our room was bright and spacious, and we enjoyed the comfortable sleeping arrangements. However, our breakfast experience was less than ideal, and some areas had an unpleasant smell. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there are aspects that could use improvement.
Traquair House is a captivating venue steeped in history, with beautiful grounds and interesting exhibits. While the room was lovely and the staff attentive, there were some issues with unpleasant odors and the breakfast experience that dampened our overall enjoyment. Nonetheless, it offered great value for money, especially for the admission to the historical site.
My stay at Traquair House was enchanting and filled with beautiful moments, particularly the grounds and the historical charm of the property. The dedication of the staff to provide exceptional service made a lasting impression, as they went above and beyond to help during our travel hiccups. However, my experience with breakfast left something to be desired, as it lacked warmth and attention. Overall, the visit was lovely, but some aspects could use improvement.
